The words we use

Room code
The six-character code that identifies a live call. Generated by the host, valid only while the room is open.
Host device
The device that opens the room and holds the controls.
Room microphone
Any phone or laptop in the room that's on the call. Speeqr merges them all into one stream.

Before the first room

IT rollout checklist

  • Allow speeqr.com and outbound WebRTC media for the browsers you support.
  • Confirm microphone permission is not blocked by policy on managed laptops.
  • Nothing to package or deploy. There is no installer to sign off on.
  • Guests join without accounts, so no directory sync or licence count is involved.
  • Room codes are session-scoped: nothing stays dialable after a meeting ends.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Speeqr before launch.

Speeqr replaces conference phones with software on the devices you already have. Every phone and laptop in the room is both a microphone and a speaker.

Speeqr uses several devices in the same room instead of a dedicated conference phone. It merges the audio from every device in the room into one stream and plays it in sync, so there's no echo.

No special conferencing hardware is needed. Speeqr runs on phones, tablets, laptops and desktops you already have.

Speeqr supports Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on modern phones, tablets, laptops and desktops. The supported platforms include Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Web.

Speeqr is designed for small team huddles through enterprise-scale meetings with thousands of participants. It supports large-scale deployments as well as people joining remotely or in the room.

Calls are end-to-end encrypted, and audio is encrypted in transit. Room codes expire when the room closes, and nothing is recorded.

Speeqr supports audio and video calls. You can share your video, the room’s video, or a laptop or phone screen.

Speeqr connects with conferencing platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex and VooV. It also integrates with calendars.

No. Speeqr has Free and Pro tiers for individuals and small teams, as well as an Enterprise tier for larger organizations.

Security & privacy

Calls are end-to-end encrypted and encrypted in transit.

Room codes expire with the room, and nothing is recorded. We do not sell or share personal data, and the only thing we store from this site is the email you give the waiting list.

Still have questions?

Email the team and a human replies, usually the same day. Security questionnaires and pilot requests are welcome too.
